“Things impossible with man are possible with God…..”

We were born and raised up in Christian families. We accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior 18 years back. The biggest blessing that we have received from the Lord after knowing Him is the peace of God.

We have been blessed with two children. As they grew we tried to influence and impact their lives with whatever we could. Soon we realized that all our efforts were futile, since as parents and teachers we could impact our children only to a certain limit. We also realized that it is only God who could bring about a lasting and a divine change in our children’s lives. Knowing this truth, we submitted our children into the hands of the Lord. Things impossible with man are possible with God. We saw the Lord leading them one step at a time, working in all the areas of their lives and their lives being transformed beautifully.

When I was pregnant with my daughter Amitha, one of the leading doctors in Cochin told me that my child’s heartbeat had stopped. But my God was faithful and brought her back to life. She is currently doing her final year degree at Coimbatore and our elder son Ashwin is currently doing his final year Masters in Australia. We would like to encourage parents who are worried about their children to entrust them to the hands of the Lord Jesus who can do miracles in their lives.

I asked God “Are you really a prayer answering God?”

There were two incidents in my life which were impossible to solve with human efforts. My father was an alcoholic and from a very young age I kept praying for him. However, his condition kept worsening. One fine day he was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis and he was in the final stages. Doctors had given him 48 hours to live as he was bleeding internally which they couldn’t stop. That night I went on my knees and I prayed and asked God “are you really a prayer answering God”. Indeed He was and He is a prayer answering God. On the third day the bleeding stopped and it is thirteen years since then he is still living.

After marriage I conceived for the first time after eight years of our marriage. I lost the child during the third month of pregnancy and it was painful. Our friends came and consoled us but nobody could understand our hearts pain and sorrow. That night as we started worshipping Jesus, we started enjoying a peace which no person could give.

My sister was also married for four years but without a child. Our relatives used to say that there is some curse in the family. When I heard this I was hurt, but God comforted me with a promise from Deuteronomy 23:5 in the Bible “Nevertheless the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you”. I conceived again and on September 23rd 2011 we were blessed with a son after 11 years of our marriage. We decided to call him AZANIAH which means “God hears and God has heard”. A year later my sister was also blessed with a girl child. In the darkest phase of my life, I believe my saviour Christ Jesus is more than able to hold me and lead me.

“I found true joy, peace and freedom in Jesus……”

I was born in a traditional Christian home and raised up in a religious way by attending all rituals and prayers. However, through all of those rituals I never heard about God’s love and plan for my life.

As years passed by, my children grew up, my husband got retired and I found myself losing my health, and life was no longer exciting. I was mentally and physically sick. I took handful of pills to get relief from my aching joints and back pain. I had a growth in the uterus, urinary infection, gall bladder stone, vertigo and a fever that refused to leave which afflicted me for months. When I was 64 years old, my brother who was a preacher prayed for me and Jesus healed me from all my sickness. I attended a spiritual retreat that he had conducted and for the first time heard about God’s love for me, His plans for my life, the need to repent for my sins and seeking forgiveness and salvation from Jesus. While I thought that I had not done any major sins to confess and repent, I kept hearing a voice within me say “If you say you have no sin, you are making God a liar.” This went on for many hours until I finally cried out to the Lord to show me my sinful past and when I confessed with weeping and crying I could experience a peace within me that I have never experienced before.

It was no longer ambition, wealth or pleasures of life that interested me anymore, I found true joy, peace and freedom in Jesus and I have been pursuing this relationship more than anything else in this world. At 82 years I am healthy and feel the strength of a 40 year old because Jesus lives in me.

“We have seen God’s hand of miracles a number of times in our lives………”

We have seen God’s hand of miracles in a number of situations in our married life.

My wife was detected with breast cancer and she had to undergo surgery. We prayed to Jesus for a complete healing and he heard our prayers and did a miracle in our lives by healing her completely.

God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who are both married and settled. In the first half of 2014, our second daughter who lives in Dubai complained of a severe pain in her abdomen. She was diagnosed with having a cyst of about 6.5 cm length in one of her ovaries. The doctor advised her to go for a surgery immediately but we prayed to the Lord and the Lord heard our prayers and healed her without a surgery. Our faith in Jesus and love for Him have increased over the years and we are so glad to know Him as our personal saviour and Lord.

"Knowing Jesus was the greatest decision that we made in life….”

Me and my wife were born in well to do religious catholic homes and had comfortable lifestyles. After marriage we were childless for 7 years and the doctor who treated us lost hope. As we prayed, the Lord blessed us with two lovely daughters. From then on we knew that God had a purpose in our lives. In 2001 we started a new journey with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. We experienced new life in a new way.

God blessed us in our business endeavors and He used us to bless and encourage others. In the course of time we entered into business partnerships without seeking guidance from the Lord and it slowly started to affect our business ventures and relationships. However, God is helping us through these moments and He is giving us breakthroughs along the way. In the midst of these challenges and struggles we still continue to enjoy His peace, presence, power, provision and protection upon our lives.

Knowing Jesus was the greatest decision we made in life and it is the greatest thing a man can choose in this world.

“Where will I go once I am taken away from this world?….”

I was born into a traditional Christian home and grew up doing all the religious practices that was required. However, I did not have a personal relationship with God.

I work as a General Manager for one of the CGH properties in Fort Kochi. Few years back I was transferred to a remote place in Tamil Nadu. One day while I was working there I fell down on the floor and was unconscious for nearly an hour. That’s when Jesus put this thought within me “where will I go once I am taken away from this world”. Once I regained consciousness I shared my experience with my family and together we all decided to accept Jesus into our lives as our personal savior and Lord.

I and my wife we are blessed with three sons Sam, Jacob & Joshua. I found my peace and happiness in knowing Jesus and that’s the best decision we have made as a family. From my experience I can say that there is nothing better than living a life for Jesus.

“We did not give up. We continued to trust God….”

I worked in an MNC in Pune and had night shift for 5 years. Initially it seemed good, but as days passed by, it started affecting my health. Meanwhile I got married and the night shift started affecting my married life too. We started praying to God together as a family with regards to my job and asked God to bless me with a day shift job.

In 2013, I moved into a day shift job at Bangalore. But as days passed by, the job became unstable and I had to change 2 companies in a span of 6 months. I was at home for a month without a job, but God sustained us. We did not give up hope. We continued to trust God.

Towards the end of 2013, God provided me with a wonderful and a stable job in one of the leading companies in Cochin. He also blessed me with a better salary package and a higher designation. He met all our financial, spiritual and physical needs.
