Joseph Jacob and Bindu Joseph Jacob hail from Cochin. Joseph comes from a business background and is also an Architect by profession. He passed out from College of Engineering, (CET) Trivandrum in 1985. After working for a few years he ventured into practice and was also a director and partner in about five other companies and firms.

Bindu is a post graduate in science and also holding a degree in education and was heading the science department in a private school in the city.

Both of them came into mission work in 1995 and left their active profession in 2005 to go as missionaries to Trivandrum, where they pioneered a few works in the districts of Trivandrum and Kanyakumari.

Joseph and Bindu were recalled to Cochin in 2013 to oversee the work in the State of Kerala. They oversee around 20 churches in the state of Kerala. They also take care of the Malayalam service in NLF Kochi and give a covering to English, Malayalam, Tamil and Oriya services. They are blessed with 2 daughters, Maria, who is doing her post graduation in Chennai and Tessa who is doing her 6th grade.

Pastor Abraham George, pastors the English Church of the New Life Fellowship at Elamkulam, Cochin. He is married to Ronie and they have been blessed with two sons Daniel & Nathan. He has been associated with the New Life Fellowship Churches since 2002 and took up the pastoral responsibilities from 2013 onwards after having worked in the corporate world for over 17 years.

Pastor Abraham holds a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management and in addition to the pastoral responsibilities he is also associated with couple of corporate organizations in conducting leadership & behavior trainings.

Pastor Mathewkutty Arikinakath hails from Kannur, northern part of Kerala. He did his Graduate and Post Graduate studies from Nirmalagiri College Koothuparamba and Mar Ivanios College Thiruvananthapuram respectively. He has done Biblical trainings at New Life Fellowship Discipleship Training Centre at Lonavla,Maharashtra and Word of Life Bible Centre. Has been serving the LORD since 2002 in different parts of India. Pastor Mathewkutty is shepherding the Malayalam Church since 2016. His wife Jamuna Shirin is a Registered Nurse by profession, currently serving the LORD fulltime by leading Women’s Intercessary Prayer Group, First Principle Classes and TAFTEE Courses .They are blessed with two children Ann Delisha Mathew and Adonais John Mathew. Pr.Mathewkutty Arikinakath ,at present,is also overseeing the Church Planting Ministrie at Piravom and Pokhra Nepal.

An advocate by profession, Pastor P John, hails from Kollam. He is pastoring the Oriya and Hindi combined Church of New life fellowship Church at Cochin along with his wife Suni, since 2008. They are blessed with 2 children, Samuel and Sarah. He did his graduation in M A and LLB, post graduation in Personnel Management from Sambalpur University at Orissa and diploma in Marketing Management.

“Things impossible with man are possible with God…..”

We were born and raised up in Christian families. We accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior 18 years back. The biggest blessing that we have received from the Lord after knowing Him is the peace of God.

We have been blessed with two children. As they grew we tried to influence and impact their lives with whatever we could. Soon we realized that all our efforts were futile, since as parents and teachers we could impact our children only to a certain limit. We also realized that it is only God who could bring about a lasting and a divine change in our children’s lives. Knowing this truth, we submitted our children into the hands of the Lord. Things impossible with man are possible with God. We saw the Lord leading them one step at a time, working in all the areas of their lives and their lives being transformed beautifully.

When I was pregnant with my daughter Amitha, one of the leading doctors in Cochin told me that my child’s heartbeat had stopped. But my God was faithful and brought her back to life. She is currently doing her final year degree at Coimbatore and our elder son Ashwin is currently doing his final year Masters in Australia. We would like to encourage parents who are worried about their children to entrust them to the hands of the Lord Jesus who can do miracles in their lives.

I asked God “Are you really a prayer answering God?”

There were two incidents in my life which were impossible to solve with human efforts. My father was an alcoholic and from a very young age I kept praying for him. However, his condition kept worsening. One fine day he was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis and he was in the final stages. Doctors had given him 48 hours to live as he was bleeding internally which they couldn’t stop. That night I went on my knees and I prayed and asked God “are you really a prayer answering God”. Indeed He was and He is a prayer answering God. On the third day the bleeding stopped and it is thirteen years since then he is still living.

After marriage I conceived for the first time after eight years of our marriage. I lost the child during the third month of pregnancy and it was painful. Our friends came and consoled us but nobody could understand our hearts pain and sorrow. That night as we started worshipping Jesus, we started enjoying a peace which no person could give.

My sister was also married for four years but without a child. Our relatives used to say that there is some curse in the family. When I heard this I was hurt, but God comforted me with a promise from Deuteronomy 23:5 in the Bible “Nevertheless the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you”. I conceived again and on September 23rd 2011 we were blessed with a son after 11 years of our marriage. We decided to call him AZANIAH which means “God hears and God has heard”. A year later my sister was also blessed with a girl child. In the darkest phase of my life, I believe my saviour Christ Jesus is more than able to hold me and lead me.
